THE LEGACY SOCIETY OF SAINT MICHAEL THE ARCHANGEL

The Legacy Society of Saint Michael the Archangel, Litchfield, CT has been formed in order to recognize those individuals who have made a documented planned gift to Saint Michael’s Parish. Members of the Legacy Society know that they have looked beyond this life and made provisions for the continuing financial support of all those they love and of their Christian Community.

SELECT THE BEST PLANNING OPPORTUNITES FOR YOU

A Bequest provides for loved ones, the Church, and other beneficiaries through a provision in your will.

Life Insurance allows you to make a large gift at a small cost by giving a new or existing policy or by designating the church as beneficiary of your current policy.

A Retirement Account could be a Charitable Remainder Trust which would allow you to receive income for life while making a large gift to the Church or a Pooled Income Fund.

A Charitable Gift Annuity works for smaller gifts.

A Gift of Life Estate or Appreciated Property may be given in the form of cash, securities, or other assets, including objects of value or real estate.

A Charitable Lead Trust allows you to give income to the Church for a period of time and have the assets returned to a family member or other beneficiary at the end of that time.

A Revocable Living Trust allows you to make a gift of assets now while retaining the right to reclaim those assets later.

TO BECOME A MEMBER YOU …

Notify the Church, by completing the Confidential Enrollment Form, that you have made provision in your estate plan for a gift to Saint Michael's Parish.
You may designate a memorial gift in memory of a loved one.
Fund your gift at the time of designation or defer it until your death or the death of your dependents.
